Day 1
Delhi Arrival

On Arrival in Airport / Railway Station, you are met by our rep and transferred to Hotel. Day is spent for shopping or with chosen activities.

Delhi, officially the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is the Capital territory of Indi. It has a population about 11 million and a massive metropolitan population of about 16.3 million, making it the second most populous city and second most populous urban agglomeration in India. New Delhi is a district, which serves as the Capital of India and seat of the executive, legislative and judiciary branch of the Govt. of India. It is also the centre of the Govt. of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. New Delhi is situated within the metropolis of Delhi. The foundation stone of the New Delhi City was laid by George V Emperor of India during Delhi Durbar of 1911. The City was designed by British Architects, Sir Edwin Lutyen’s and Sir Herbert Baker. The New Capital was inaugurated on 13th February 1931 by India’s Viceroy Lord Irwin.

Day 2
Delhi Local Sightseeing

Breakfast is taken at hotel. Later, proceed for Delhi Local Sightseeing, beginning with Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Indira Gandhi Museum, President House, Parliament & India Gate. Also visit Red Fort, Raj Ghat.

Later, if time permits, visit Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple (optional service). Swaminarayan Akshardham (New Delhi) is a Hindu temple, and spiritual-cultural campus. Akshardham Temple Complex displays millennia of traditional and modern Hindu culture, spirituality, and architecture. Return to hotel for check in and overnight stay in Delhi

Day 3:
Day Trip to Agra
Delhi / Agra Transfer – Distance – 240km / 04-5Hrs
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

After Breakfast, leave by road for Agra. Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and home to Taj Mahal, has always fascinated the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the west bank of Agra with the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at its nucleus.

On Arrival, visit the world famous Taj Mahal, the eternal and extravagant monument expressing the enduring love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj took 22,000 laborer’s from Central Asia and India were employed. Also visit Akbar’s magnificent Agra Fort, which dominates the center of the city and Itmad-ud-Daulah tomp built by Nur Jahan in memory of her parents. Stay overnight in Agra.

Day 4:
Agra to Jaipur, en-route – Fatehpur Sikri.

After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur, in route visit Fatehpur Sikri, one of the capital cities of Akbar. This new capital came up in 1569. Jaipur, popularly known as Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called Old City or Pink City for its trademark building colour. At the centre of the stately street grid stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace Complex, which houses several museum collections of textiles and art. On Arrival, check in at hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5:
Day Sightseeing of Jaipur

Morning, after breakfast, drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back and visit the palace (optional). Later, visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of winds. Rest of the day at Leisure or free to visit Chokhi Dhani Ethnic Village on your own (optional). Overnight Stay in Hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6:
Transfer to Udaipur, en-route Pushkar & Ajmer
Distance –  450 kms – 7/8hrs drive approx.

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, proceed to Ajmer & Pushkar Visit Ajmer Durgah, then visit Bramha Temple in Pushkar.

Ajmer, a pilgrimage centre for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, is the 5th largest city in Rajasthan, located 145 kms south west of Jaipur, the capital city. Ajmer, meaning “invincible Mountain” in Sanskrit, was founded in the last 7th century AD by Ajayraj Singh Chauhan. The Chauhan dynasty fuled Ajmer in spite of repeated invasions by Turkic Muslim armies from Central Asia across th North India. Prithviraj Chauhan (1149-1192 CE) of the Chauhan dynasty ruled Ajmer along with Delhi during the latter half of the 12th Century. Prithviraj Chauhan was the last independent Hindu king to sit upon the throne of Delhi, and ruled from the twin capitals of Ajmer & Delhi.

Pushkar, one of the oldest cities in India, situated about 10 km northwest of Ajmer, is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Pushkar has many temples.

Pushkar, at a height of 510 metres, is surrounded by hillocks on three sides. The ‘Nag Pahar’, literally meaning Snake Mountain forms a natural border between Ajmer and Pushkar. Known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. Along with an interesting mythological history, a legacy of timeless architectural heritage makes Pushkar a fascinating city.

According to legends, Lord Brahma, believed to be the creator of the Universe dropped a lotus to the ground leading to the immediate creation of a lake. He then decided to name the place after the flower, and thus the name, Pushkar. The city of Pushkar is home to the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar to be the ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation.

Later, continue drive to Udaipur.  On arrival, check in at hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight Stay in Hotel in Udaipur

Day 7:
Local Sightseeing of Udaipur

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Later, City Tour of Udaipur.

Visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple. Proceed to the Garden of the Maids of Honour constructed in the early 18th Century, which was used as a venue for Royal parties. Evening, take a romantic boat ride on the Lake Pichola (Optional, payable directly) from where you can admire the beauty of Udaipur, reflected smooth and white in the still blue waters of the Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur

Day 8:
Departure Transfer

Breakfast is taken at hotel. Later, proceed to Udaipur Airport / Railway Station to connect your onward flight/train.
