Arrival / Departure – Kathmandu

Day by Day itinerary for 09 days trip to Nepal Covering 3 Nights in Kathmandu, 2 Nights in Pokhara, 1 Night in Jomsom & 2 Nights in Chitwan

Day 01 –
Kathmandu Arrival 

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be greeted by our driver or Kailash DMC Pvt Ltd representative holding a signboard with your name on it outside arrival gate

Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu; Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal is known for its rich culture, history and beautiful architecture

Check in & freshen up

Leisure time explore local markets, Cafe, Casinos, club, etc. at your own

Day 02 –
Kathmandu Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel

Afterward, visit the following sites:

Pashupatinath Temple: A sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witness the rituals and ceremonies along the Baghmati River

Guheshwori Shakti peeth: A Significant religious site for Goddess Durga

Bouddanath Stupa: One of the Largest Stupa in the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk around the stupa, spin prayer wheels

Swyambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple):  A UNESCO World Heritage site located on a hilltop offering a panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley and explore the stupa’s intricate architecture

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Also known as Hanuman Dhoka, is a UNESCO World Heritage site

Key attractions include

Hanuman Dhoka Place, Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess, Kumari), Taleju Temple, Shiva – Parvati Temple, Various Temples and Palaces: The square is filled with numerous temples, palaces and other architectural wonders, each with its own unique history and significance.

Return to the hotel. Leisure time explore local markets, Cafe, Casinos, club, etc. at your own

Day 03
Drive to Pokhara

Breakfast at hotel

Depart for Pokhara, approximately 210 km away and a 6-to-7-hour drive

Enroute:

Manakamana Temple Visit: Take a cable car ride to the temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati

Enjoy stunning views of the Trishuli River and surrounding hills

Arrive in Pokhara and check in to your hotel

Relax and explore Lakeside (Pokhara’s tourist hub) on your own

Day 04 –
Drive to Jomsom & Drive to Muktinath

Drive to Jomsom

Offering spectacular views of the Himalayan Landscape passing through the scenic Kali Gandaki River valley

Arrive in Jomsom
Continue your journey to Muktinath

The road trip will take around 2 hours. Once you reach Muktinath, you will need to walk around 25 minutes from the jeep stop to reach the temple

Upon arrival in Muktinath Temple, you will have the opportunity to perform puja and take part in the holy bath at the 108 spouts of water. This spiritual experience is considered for many pilgrims visiting the site.

After completing your visit to Muktinath, you will return to the jeep stand again then drive towards Jomsom and check in to your hotel

Evening explores local Markets

Day 05 
Drive back to Pokhara then Pokhara Local Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel
Meet your Driver then drive towards Pokhara

explore the following attractions in Pokhara:
Sightseeing in Pokhara:
Bindhyabasini Temple: A Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Durga
Davis fall: A mesmerizing waterfall that disappears underground
Gupteswor Mahadev Cave: A sacred cave dedicated to Lord Shiva, located opposite Davis Fall
Phewa Lake: The Second Largest Lake in Nepal, with the famous Tal Barahi Temple.
Back to the hotel or relax by the Lakeside and soak in the peaceful ambiance
Evening (Optional)
Attend Aarti at Phewa Lake: A spiritual and cultural event with chanting of Mantras, the ringing of bells and the soft glow of oil Lamps. It’s a serene and mesmerizing experience that showcases the
spiritual and cultural richness of Nepal.

Day 06  –
Drive to Chitwan

Breakfast at hotel
Drive to Chitwan which will take approximately 5-6 hours
Enjoy the changing Landscapes as you make your way to this beautiful region known for its lush forests and wildlife
Check in to your hotel, Freshen up and relax
Evening  Activities:
Village walk and Sunset View: Ember on a leisurely village walks to explore the local lifestyle and enjoy the beautiful sunset views
Tharu Cultural Dance Show: Witness the traditional Tharu cultural dance performance, showcasing the rich heritage and customs of the indigenous Tharu community
Return to your hotel for a delightful dinner and spend the night at your accommodation in Chitwan


Day 07 –
Chitwan Jungle activities

Jeep safari: This provides a comfortable and faster way to explore the national park and its diverse wildlife. Traverse through different terrains and keep your eyes peeled for exotic animals and birds
Afternoon:
Lunch: Return the hotel for a refreshing lunch
Canoeing Trip or Visit Elephant Breeding Center:
Choose between two exciting options for the afternoon
Canoeing Trip: Embark on a tranquil canoe ride along the Rapti River, offering a chance to observe
crocodiles and other aquatic wildlife in their natural habitat
Visit Elephant Breeding Center:
Alternatively, visit the Elephant Breeding center to learn about the conservation efforts for these magnificent animals and witness baby elephants at play
Evening: Return  to the hotel for a delightful dinner, sharing stories of the day’s adventures and enjoying the local cuisine

Day 08  –
Drive back to Kathmandu

Breakfast at hotel

Check out and begin your drive back to Kathmandu

Enjoy scenic views of rivers, hills and villages on the way

Arrive in Kathmandu and check in to your hotel

Spend the evening at leisure or explore markets

Day 09  –
Departure Transfer

Breakfast at hotel

Meet your driver and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight
# Please ensure you leave at least 3 hours before your flight for check-in and security procedures
