Day 1
Transfer from Guwahati to Bhalukpong

On your arrival at the Guwahati airport or Railway station, you will be met and help you to continue your journey to Bhalukpong

Bhalukpong is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. The town is located at 213m above sea level, 250kms from Guwahati, 100 km from Bomdila, 52km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng River and is the headquarters of Bhalukpong Circle.

On Arrival, check in at Hotel. In the evening, if time permits, head out to explore the local sites. You can also visit the Bhalukpong Fort, which was built during the 10th-century and is a symbol of the ancient glory of the place. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel in Bhalukpong.

Day 2
Transfer to Dirang
Distance 140kms, 4hrs drive

Today after breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Dirang, en-route, visit the beautiful Tipi Orchid Center spreading over 112.8 acres of land and research rare orchids.

Dirang is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located about 43 km from Bomdila on the way to Tawang. Dirang is located on the bank of river Kameng (Known as Jia Bharali in Assam). Since it is on the river valley the altitude is relatively low (4900 ft).

Check in at the hotel on arrival in Dirang. Later, proceed to visit the Dirang Dzong and Monpa Village. Visit the nearby Monpa Village to experience colourful cultural activities and dance and explore constructing houses with bamboo and mud that save them from chilled weather. Later, Return to your hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Dirang.

Day 3
Transfer to Tawang
Distance 130kms, 5hrs drive

Tawang is a town in western part of Arunachal Pradesh, bounded by Tibet (China) to the north, Bhutan to the south-west and Sela ranges separated from West Kament district in the east. Located, north-west of state capital Itanagar, at an elevation of approximately 3,048 metres, the town lies to the north of the Tawang Chu river valley, close to south of the Line of Actual Control with China.

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, proceed to Tawang, en-route, Sela Pass to enjoy a breath taking Himalayan vista along with one of the most beautiful lakes in India. You may also visit Jaswant Garh, a site to remember the martyrs of the 1962 Indo-China War and the Nunarang Fall, one of the most dramatic waterfalls in India. Later, continue drive to Tawang. On Arrival, check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay in Hotel at Tawang.

Day 4
Tawang Local Sightseeing

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, visit Tawang Monastery. It offers a commanding and picturesque view of the Tawang-chu Valley. It appears like a fort guarding the vast valley below from a distance. You may also visit Urgelling Monastery; the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso. He was an unconventional Dalai Lama that preferred the lifestyle of a crazy wisdom yogi to that of an ordained monk. His regent was killed before; he was kidnapped by Lha-bzang Khan of the Khoshut Khanate and disappeared.

Later visit Gyangong Ani Gompa, which the female monks run. Gyangong Ani Gompa, perched on the top of a beautiful hillock is nunnery, is located at a distance of around 5 kilometre in the north of Tawang. Later, if time permits, visit the Tawang War Memorial. The evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel in Tawang.

Day 5
Tawang Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake

After early morning, get ready to explore some more fascinating places of interest in Tawang. Visit Madhuri Lake and Pangateng Tso Lake. Bumla Pass (China Border) Once done, retrurn to hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure or free with chosen activities. Overnight stay in Hotel in Tawang.
Note: Tour to Madhuri Lake and Pangateng Tso Lake is subjected to weather conditions.

Day 6
Transfer from Tawang to Bomdila
Distance: 180kms, 6hrs drive, approx.

After breakfast, drive to Bomdila, en-route, visit to Nag Temple and Gontse Garden, Rabgye Ling Monastery.

Bomdila, is one of the 60 constituencies and the headquarters of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. On Arrival in Bomdila, check in at Hotel. Later, If time permits, visit the popular Craft Center at Bomdila. Female traders run the Craft Center at Bomdila. Here you can buy wooden and bamboo products and colorful clothes made by the people of nearby villages. Also, visit the museum to get the essence of the culture and lifestyle of the local people. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel in Bomdila.

Day 7
Tranfser to Kaziranga National Park, Assam
Distance: 185kms, 5hrs drive, approx.

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, drive to Kaziranga National Park, one of the must-visit tourist destinations in Assam. Tourists visit Kaziranga every year to watch the one-horned rhinoceros, for which Kaziranga is renowned all over the world. The national park is spread across an area of about 430 square kilometers. Kaziranga is home to wondrous wildlife, including tigers, wild buffalo, gaur, leopard, stag, deer, hog, wild boar, and many beautiful migratory birds.

On arrival, complete your check in formalities at the hotel and relax. Rest of the day at Leisure , free with chosen activities. Overnight stay in Hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 8
Elephant Ride, Safari & Departure Transfer to Guwahati Airport

Early morning, get ready to enjoy the elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30AM in the western range of the National Park (optional, pre-booked). Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, enjoy Jeep Safari ( optional, pre-booked) and back to hotel for check out.
