Day 1
IXB Airport / NJP Rly Stn to Gangtok – Pickup
Approx Distance: 125 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hours

Meet & greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir – Excursion

Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hours ; After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)Places Include Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir:

Note: – You can also visit the Nathu La Pass (Inner line Permit Required, Charges Extra). Situated at an altitude of 13,123 feet, Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple is located between Nathula Pass and Jelepla Pass. It is about 60 km from Gangtok and can be easily reached by public transport. This is one of the major attractions in East Sikkim and should not be missed on your Sikkim tour. IN case this is not possible, we will provide full day sightseeing.

Day 3
Gangtok to Lachung
Drive with on the way Sightseeing

Approx Distance: 130 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hours; After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,500 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Singhik View Point, Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4
Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion
Approx Distance: 80 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hours.

Morning drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Return back to Hotel and overnight in Lachung.

Optional Visit: Zero Point
Also known as Yume Samdong, Zero Point stands at an altitude of 15,300 ft above mean sea level. It happens to be the last outpost of civilisation and the place where three rivers meet amid a panoramic view of snow-clad mountains and picturesque surroundings. Since it is located very close to the International border between India and China, visitors need permission to come here. It takes tourists about 1.5 hours to reach here from Yumthang Valley, which is 25 km away, and about 3 to 3.5 hours from Lachung. After reaching here, there are no civilian roads beyond and that is why it is called Zero Point. Though the roads can be treacherous, driving here is worth the reward of beautiful and pristine mountain sights. If you’re lucky, you can also spot a yak in the snow. Zero Point hardly has any green stretches of land, except those that become visible when the snow melts

Day 5
Lachung to Lachen

Overnight stay in Lachen as per hotel selected. Evening free.

Day 6
Lachen to Gurdongmar Lake to Gangtok
• Approx Distance: 160 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hours

Checkout hotel by 5.30 am and travel to Gurdongmar lake. ( 4 hrs drive) Return to Hotel by lunch 2 pm and travel to Gangtok at 3 pm, reach by 7 pm..

After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see Mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7
Gangtok

Banjhakri Waterfalls: Spread out over 2 acres of forestland, the park contains a man-made lake, gazebos, paved pathways and a footbridge. The park is thematically designed to portray the myth surrounding the Ban Jhakri, a shamanic deity, said to be the god of the forest and founder of Nepali shamanism.
Flower show:Sikkim produces some of the rarest and best quality flowers in the country.Walking into the flower exhibition centre during the month of May is like taking a deep dive into a world of different colours and aromas.
Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre: The Institute is an authentic warehouse of traditional handicrafts and handlooms that are exceptional to Sikkim. Here, you can see hand-woven carpets with traditional motifs, blankets, shawls (in Lepcha weaves), ‘thangka’ paintings, graceful ‘Choktse’ (hand carved foldable tables), hand-painted masks, dolls and many other objects.

Institute of Tibetology: Institute employs researchers and one of its new research programs is a project which seeks to document the social history of Sikkim’s approximated 60 monasteries and record this on a computer.
The Ganesh Tok viewpoint, situated at a distance of 6500, offers stunning views of the mountains dusted with snow. The temple (dedicated to Lord Ganesh) is, however, so small that it can only fit one person at a time. The place is a must-visit for nature lovers as it offers great views of the imposing Himalayan mountains, specifically Mount Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu.

Dro-dul Chorten: Named after the 11th Chogyal of Sikkim, Sir Tashi Namgyal.[2] The stupa was built by Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism in 1945. Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorje Phurba, Kangyur (Holy Books) and other religious objects. The sublime place takes you a step closer to nature with its surreal surroundings and comforting ambience.

Day 8
Transfer from Gangtok to Pelling via Ravangla
Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hours

Travel to Ravangla and visit the famous sites in and around Ravangla. After lunch check in hotel at Pelling.

Day 9
Pelling Sightseeing

Pelling Skywalk and other beautiful sights in and around Pelling like Sleeping Buddha, Buddha Park etc. Afternoon free in Pelling. Overnight Pelling. ( optional extra sightseeing is available here)

Day 10
Pelling to Darjeeling via Namchi with Sightseeing

This morning drive to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.). vi Namchi. This is one of the most beautiful places in Sikkim.
On arrival check-in to your hotel by evening . Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 11
Darjeeling with Sightseeing

Darjeeling: It is situated tan height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet – It is a land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills – Darjeeling is home to many international Schools and few of the internationally famous site like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, etc – It is also home to the famous World Heritage train – The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) – Check into hotel – Evening free – Over Night stay at Darjeeling.

Day 12
Darjeeling – Full day Sightseeing & transfer to Kalimpong or Siliguri.
• Est. Travel Time: 8 hours

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), After breakfast relax for a while, checkout hotel, and then continue your tour visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

● Tiger Hill: Who doesn’t know about the magnificent view of sunrise from Tiger Hill. You
will need to wake up by 3:30am and take a vehicle. But the rewards are awesome. You can see the changing colours of the colossal Kanchenjunga snow peaks as the light strikes, it’s a place where you can soak yourself with Himalayan beauty.
● Ghoom Monastery: You will visit one of the oldestBuddhist monasteries of Darjeeling located at a scenic location in Ghoom area. It houses a12-foot tall statue of Mayetriya Buddha which represents the Buddha of the future.This one of the biggest and oldest statues of Buddha in Darjeeling area.
● Batasia Loop and the War Memorial: Batasia Loop is an engineering marvel located in Ghoom area. This is where the toy train makes a double spiral loop to negotiate a drop of 1000 ft as it moves towards Darjeeling town. Amidst the beautiful garden where the railway track is laid in the form of a loop, there is also a War Memorial. You can walk along the track and complete the loop yourself.
● Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda: Close to the Darjeeling town and in a scenic setting there is a temple built in a traditional Japanese style. About 100 yards away and in the same complex, there is a large Peace Pagoda that showcases four avatars of Buddha.
● Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – Darjeeling Zoo – Natural History Museum CLOSED ON THURSDAY: These are three attractions co-located in the same large compound. The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was built to honor Tenzing Norgay’s triumph to Everest and is dedicated to provide mountaineering and rock-climbing lessons to students from all over the world. There is a mountaineering museum as well. The highlights of this museum include the artifacts from various Himalayan expeditions, the Everest section showcasing Tenzing’s personal belongings, an eagle found dead at 26,000 feet during the 1960 Everest expedition, a high-power telescope that once belonged to Hitler and was used by the Institute etc. Darjeeling Zoo has many high-altitude Himalayan animals including Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolf, Himalayan Black Bear, Red Panda, yaks etc.

● Darjeeling Ropeway: You will board the cable car from Singamari located 3km away from
the town center. The 45 minutes ride takes you from an altitude of 7,000ft to 800ft with wonderful vista of a valley around Rangeetriver, tea estates and sweeping views of the snow peaks of Himalayan range including Kanchenjunga. Tickets need to be purchased. During the high season, there may be long queues. So, try to book in advance.

Kalimpong/Siliguri to IXB Airport / NJP Rly Stn – Drop
Approx Distance: 70/10 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours

After breakfast Check-out from hotel on time & transfer to NJP Railway station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
