Day 01
IXB / NJP > Gangtok
(124 km / approximately 5hours drive)

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be met and directly transferred to Gangtok (124 Kms / 4 to 5hrs approx.), located at an altitude of 5500ft.

Gangtok, the capital city of the Sikkim, is one of the most beautiful and cleanest town in north east, promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. On Arrival in Gangtok, check in at Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight Stay will be at Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 02
Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion)
Note: All sightseeing are subject to weather conditions. In case, Tsomgo Lake is closed due to any circumstances, we may provide some alternative sightseeing, if included in the quote / itineary.

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, day excursion tour to the source of all lakes Tsomgo Lake. Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m (12,313 ft), with an average dept of 50ft, the lake remains frozen during the winter season. The oval shaped lake is almost about 1km long and 15mtrs deep.

The lake surface reflects different colours with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkimese people. Buddhist monks prognosticated after studying the changing colours of the lake. After the winter season ends in middle of May, the periphery of lake has scenic blooms of flower species of rhododendrons (the state tree of Sikkim), primulas, blue and yellow poppies, irises and so forth. Wildlife seen includes the red panda.

After enjoying the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, proceed to visit Lake Baba Mandir – The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh (disappeared army personal), which is 18kms away and back to Gangtok. This is one of the few and awesome high altitude lakes in India. The lake becomes doubly attractive with the reflections of the surrounding hills on the water. Later, return to Gangtok City. Rest of the day at Leisure or free to visit Gangtok for shopping / at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel

NATHULA PASS: Optional Tour on Additional Payment: Indo-china Tibet Border(14,140 ft). Nathu La is located on the 563 km (350 mi) Old Silk Route, an offshoot of the historic Silk Road. Nathu La Tour can be arranged on advance notification followed by Extra Charge (please check the NOTE given below), only if the permit is allowed. (Small Car not allowed, Monday & Tuesday are closed) – Once the permit is issued, the amount is non-refundable at any coast, whatsoever may be the reason.

Day 03
Gangtok / Kalimpong

Gangtok Half day sightseeing, then drive to Kalimpong

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half day city tour of Gangtok, covering Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Enchey Monastery, Dro-dul Chorten & Institute of Tibetology. Later, drive to Kalimpong. One can also do River Rafting in Teesta- Rangeet River on direct/spot payment basis, if interested.

Arrive in Kalimpong. Check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at free with chosen activities / shopping in the mall. Overnight stay in Hotel at Kalimpong.

Day 04
Gangtok /Darjeeling
(98 km / approximately 4hours drive)

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong Visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Garden, Durbin Monastery & Pine View Nursery. One can do Paragliding after reaching Deolo Hill on the direct/spot payment basis, (optional services).

Later, transfer back to the queen of the hills Darjeeling (98km / 4hrs), enroute you may stop by Triveni View Point and Lamahatta Eco Park. One can also do River Rafting in Teesta – Rangeet River on direct/spot payment basis. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to the hotel. Evening at Leisure / Free to explore nearby market in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling was the summer capital of India during British raj and currently holding the status summer capital of West Bengal. Darjeeling, producer of world’s best quality orthodox tea, will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people.

Enjoy the scenic beauty from the Mall or a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight stay at Hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 05
Local Sightseeing of Darjeeling
Early morning at 4 am, get ready for an excursion tour to Tiger Hill (8,400 fr) to witness the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (world’s 3rd highest peak). Later, visit Ghoom Monastery ( closed as of now) and Batasia Loop, War Memorial on the way back to your Hotel.

Post breakfast, tour to the Peace Pagoda Japanese Temple and Rope way, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Garden (Thursday closed), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), world famous tea garden (outer view), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help centre (Sunday closed) etc. You may also visit to the Mall (Chow Rasta) along with local Market for understand city life. Evening, free with chosen activities. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 06
Darjeeling Departure
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Bagdogra (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) for your onward flight / train.
