Arrival & Exit Port: Jabalpur (Dumna) Airport

Day 1:
Arrival, Transfer to Kanha National Park

Jabalpur, a city in Central Madhya Pradesh; has plenty of things to offer, right from experiencing the surreal beauty of marble rocks, to enjoying the natural beauty at Dhuandhar waterfalls or attend the auspicious aarti at Gwarighat in the evening or learning about historic points of interests, the beautiful marble city will fill your heart with happiness.

On Arrival at Jabalpur airport or railway station, you will be met and transferred to Kanha National Park ( 180 kms, 3.5 hrs drive ). Arrive Kanha National Park, check in at Lodge, Tent, Hotel. Day at Leisure.

Kanha National Park, Kanha Tiger Reserve, is a vast expanse of grassland and forest. Tigers, jackals and wild pigs can be spotted in Kanha Meadows. The elevated plateau of Bamhnidadar is home to birds of prey. Animals often gather at the watering holes of Sondar Tank and Babathenga Tank. The park’s flora and fauna are documented in the Park’s Kanha Museum

Later, your guide would take you to the Khatia Visitor Centre. The Centre has informative displays about the flora & fauna & environment of Kanha, publications for sale including informative brochure, posters, postcards, small guides, a handbook of Kanha park, a short film show “Encounters in the Dark”. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in Kanha National Park.

Day 2:
Safari in Kanha National Park

You would be woken up early in the morning, before dawn. Freshen up & join in the awaiting vehicle for your first exposure of Kanha National Park.

The morning excursion starts at dawn. Kanha National Park is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh & a feast for the eyes for wildlife enthusiasts. An epitome of conservation, successful rehabilitation of the Hard ground Swamp Deer (Barasingha ) speaks about the dedication & efforts of the forest dept as well as the local population. It is the first tiger reserve in India to officially introduce a mascot, “Bhoorsingh the Barasingha”. Visit the “Interpretation Centre” located in the heart of Kanha (At Kanha zone only). Your guide will brief you about the immensely rich flora & fauna. Feel the adrenaline rush while you patiently wait for a tiger sighting. Later, return to your tent, lodge or hotel. Optional – you may please avail the afternoon safari too. Evening at Leisure. Overnight Stay in Kanha National Park.

Day 3:
Transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Chack out and proceed for Bandhavgarh National Park, which is 250 kms away, 5-6hrs drive approx. On arrival at Bandhavgarh National Park, check in at Hotel/Tent/ Cottage. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 4:
Safari in Badhavgarh National Park.

In the morning excursion, your guide will take you deep inside the Park through the vast Chakradhar meadows, on a rocky hill, which forms the backdrop of the Bandhavgarh Fort. Witness the “SheshShaiya”, a 65 ft ancient statues of the Hindu God Vishnu in sleeping pose. Later, return to Hotel/Tent/Camp. Overnight Stay in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 5:
Transfer to Jabalpur

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, check out and proceed for Jabalpur, which is 200 kms, 4-5 hrs drive to catch your flight / train for onward journey
