Day 01:
Delhi Arrival

On Arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to Hotel. After fresh n up, if time permits, visit Akshardham Temple (optional). Evening at leisure or free for shopping in the open market. Overnight stay in Hotel in Delhi.

NEW DELHI
Delhi, officially the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is the Capital territory of Indi. It has a population about 11 million and a massive metropolitan population of about 16.3 million, making it the second most populous city and second most populous urban agglomeration in India. New Delhi is a district, which serves as the Capital of India and seat of the executive, legislative and judiciary branch of the Govt. of India. It is also the centre of the Govt. of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. New Delhi is situated within the metropolis of Delhi.

The foundation stone of the New Delhi City was laid by George V Emperor of India during Delhi Durbar of 1911. The City was designed by British Architects, Sir Edwin Lutyen’s and Sir Herbert Baker. The New Capital was inaugurated on 13th February 1931 by India’s Viceroy Lord Irwin.

SWAMINARAYAN AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE
Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu temple, and spiritual-cultural campus. Akshardham Temple Complex displays millennia of traditional and modern Hindu culture, spirituality, and architecture. Evening, return to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 :
Agra: Transfer to Agra
Distance (240kms / 4-5hrs approx., one way)
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Friday

Morning, after breakfast, transfer to Agra.  Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and home to Taj Mahal, has always fascinated the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the west bank of Agra with the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at its nucleus.

On Arrival, proceed to visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on fridays), the eternal and extravagant monument expressing the enduring love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj took 22,000 laborer’s from Central Asia and India were employed. Later, if time permits, visit Akbar’s magnificent Agra Fort, which dominates the center of the city and Itmad-ud-Daulah tomp built by Nur Jahan in memory of her parents. Later, return to Delhi for overnight stay in Delhi Hotel.
Important Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

Day 03 :
New Delhi: Local Sightseeing of Delhi & Overnight Journey to Manali
Note: Many Monuments in Delhi are closed on Monday

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Later, city tour of Delhi, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Old Delhi and followed by visits to 1648 Red Fort, India’s largest mosque – Juma Masjid (optional) and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. Later, visit India Gate, Parliament & President’s House (view only), Teen Murti Bhawan, Indira Gandhi Museum, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar.  Later, drop off at Volvo stand to connect Volvo Bus to Manali.
Proceed to Manali by Volvo Bus ( boarding assistance only of request). Overnight Journey in Volvo Bus.

Day 04 :
Manali Arrival & Half Day Sightseeing

On Arrival, you will be picked from Volvo Stand and transferred to Hotel.
Later, proceed for Half Day Manali Sightseeing. Manali local sightseeing includes Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot springs and Tibetans Monatery.

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in northern Himachal. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass. A favourite destination for honeymooners & leisure travellers.

Day 05:
Local Sightseeing of Manali, Solang Valley & Atal Tunnel

Solang Valley derives its name from combination of words Solang and Nallah. It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal, 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport condition. Solang Valley is famous for adventure activities in Manali.  Enjoy activities like snow scooter, skiing, tube slide (in winter season) paragliding, Cable Car Ride, Horse riding, mountain bike etc (your own cost, all activities subject to availability at the time of your visit).

Atal Tunnel (also known as Rohtang Tunnel) is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh at a length of 9.02 km. It is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world and is named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. With the existing Atal Tunnel and after the completion of under-construction Shingo La Tunnel, which is targeted to be completed by 2024, both the Leh-Manali Highway and the Nimmu–Padum–Darcha road routes will become all-weather road. After Solang Valley, if time permits, visit Atal Tunnel. Later, return to Manali for overnight stay in Manali.

Day 06 :
Raison, Kullu Valley & Overnight Journey to Delhi

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, proceed to Kullu Valley, and stop at Raison to enjoy river rafting and other adventure activities. Evening, return to Delhi by Volvo bus. Overnight Journey in Volvo Bus.

Kullu Valley is a broad open valley in Himachal, formed by the Beas River between Manali and Largi. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards.

Raison, famous for white water rafting, is a stopover, which has vast camping grounds maintained by Himachal Tourism.

Day 07 :
Arrival & Departure Transfer
On Arrival in Delhi, you will be picked up and transferred to Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.

Important Note :  Transport : A/C will be switched off during hill drives. Any increase in taxes or imposition of new taxes shall have to be borne by the customer. Vehicle is available as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal unless mentioned in the package inclusions. Charges applicable on any extra kilometers or hours can be paid directly to the transport vendor.

 Travelling Time: Time taken to reach destination depends upon the traffic conditions and will not be held responsible for delay in reaching destination due road condition or traffic blocks, under any circumstances.
 We would not be held responsible for any vehicle breakdown, if vehicle meets with any accident or due to any other technical difficulties.
 Prior confirmation of Vehicle details, Seats in the Volvo, are subject to change, due to load, frequent change of vehicle and allocation of seats without prior intimation.
 Guests should be prepared to travel in any seats / vehicle allotted at the time of actual travel time.
 No refund due to traffic block or timely transfers to Volvo stand due to delay of arrival flights / train.
 No refund due to cancellation of Volvo Services / delay in reaching destination, subsequently causing cancellation of departure flights.
 Hill stations sightseeing are subject to climate / weather conditions.
 No refund towards cancellation of services due to natural calamity.
 Any increase in taxes or imposition of new taxes shall have to be borne by the customer.

 If local taxi provided to you is unable to take you to the designated places due to weather condition, guest may need to hire Gupsy or 4 wheeler on additional payment.
 No refund is permitted at such cases, Gypsy / 4 Wheeler services are optional, additional payment, to be negotiated directly.
 Charges applicable on any extra kilometers or hours can be paid directly to the transport / local vendor/supplier.
