Day 1
Arrival Imphal Airport

On Arrival in Imphal, you will be met and transferred Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Imphal.

Imphal is the capital city of Manipur. On the Imphal River, Kangla Fort was once the seat of local rulers, and now houses relics. On the south side of the centuries-old Polo Ground, Manipur State Museum has many displays including tribal artifact’s and a large royal boat. Next to the former Royal Palace, Shri Shri Govindaji Temple has twin domes, a large hall and shrines to Hindu gods.

Day 2
Imphal Local Sightseeing

Full day city tour of Imphal city. Visit Kangla Fort & Kangla Museum (Wednesday closed), Govindajee Temple, Mahabali Temple, Imphal Museum, Second World War Cemeteries & IMA Market, a market run by women only. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Imphal.

Day 3
Excursion to Loktak Lake

Full day excursion to Loktak Lake and Sendra Island. Later visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park, which is sharing the border with Loktak Lake, the last natural habitat of the endangered marsh-dwelling brow-antlered deer of Manipur called “Sangai”. It is the only floating national park in the world; which is composed of large masses of floating weed (called “Phumdi” in local dialect). Later, visit INA Museum – the place;where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s India National Army first hoisted the Indian Tri-colors. Visit Loukoi Pat; a picnic spot with boating facility. On your way back; visit Japanese War Memorial (India Peace Memorial); which is located at Red Hill, in Bishnupur District of Manipur. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Imphal.

Day 4
Excursion to Moreh – Myanmar Border
Distance: 109Kms, 3hrs one way, approx.

Experience the thrill of crossing over what is perhaps India’s most exciting and under-explored international border or of visiting the place where South Asia meets Southeast Asia. We take you to the border town of Moreh and cross over into Tamu in Burma (Myanmar) to see its bustling bazaar, friendly people and main Buddhist monastery. We top it all off with a delicious Burmese meal! As if that wasn’t enough, en-route near Tengnoupal to enjoy stunning views from the road at 5,000 feet of the mountains that form the India-Burma border. We can also see the Shenam Saddle; where some of the most ferocious fighting of the WWII took place between the British and Japanese soldiers. Return to Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Imphal

Day 5
Departure Transfer
Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, as per flight schedule, proceed to Imphal Airport to connect your flight back home.
