Day 1
Dehradun Arrival

On Arrival, you will be met and transferred to Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure or drive around the city. Overnight stay in Hotel in Dehradun.

Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, is known for its pleasant year-round weather and scenic surroundings. The city is gateway to several popular hill-stations like Mussoorie, Haridwar and Rishikesh.

According to Skanda Purana, Dun formed part of the region called Kedar Khand. It was included in the kingdom of Ashoka by the end of the 3rd century B.C. It is revealed by history that for centuries the region formed part of the Garhwal kingdom with some interruption from Rohillas. For about two decades till 1815, it was under the occupation of the Gorkhas. In April 1815 Gorkhas were ousted from Garhwal region and Garhwal was annexed by the British.

Attractions in Dehradun: Six-sided Ghanta Ghar clock tower, Paltan Bazaar, Gurdwara Nanaksar, topped with ornate white and golden domes and a Tibetan Buddhist Center with shrine rooms in its Great Stupa.

Day 2
Dehradun Mussoorie Transfer

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, drive to Mussoorie – ‘Queen of Hills’. En route we visit Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladungi (optional). On arrival, check in at Hotel and spend your free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overnight stay in Hotel in Mussoorie.

Mussoorie, the hill station in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range, is about 35 kilometres from Dehradun and 290 km north of the national capital of New Delhi. The adjoining town of Landour, which includes a military cantonment, is considered part of “greater Mussoorie”.

Mussoorie is at an average altitude of 2,005 metres (6,578 ft). To the northeast are the Himalayan snow ranges, and to the south, the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges. The second highest point is the original Lal Tibba in Landour, with a height of over 2,275 m (7,464 ft).

Day 3
Mussoorie Local

Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, proceed to enjoy the beautiful Kempty Falls, which offers a mesmerizing panoramic view as the water falls from the mountains. Afternoon, walk on the mall road and enjoy Ropeway Ride at Gun Hill point- a favourite place for viewing picturesque Himalayan range. At Gun Hill point you can photograph yourself in a Traditional Local (Pahadi) outfit at your own cost. Evening, at leisure with chosen activities or enjoy free time for shopping. Overnight stay in Hotel in Mussoorie. Note: Please carry a swim-suit while visiting Kempty falls.

Day 4
Mussoorie Departure.
Breakfast is taken at Hotel. Later, proceed to Dehradun Airport to connect your flight back home.
