SPITI VALLEY ITINERARY

Day 1
Delhi / Manali
Distance | 580kms, 14-16hrs drive

On arrival in Delhi Airport, pick up and transfer to Volvo Stand to board volvo bus. Delhi to Manali by an AC Volvo Bus – Overnight journey – (580kms one way/approx. 15 hours’ drive/gaining a height of 6,726 feet above sea level)

Overnight journey to Manali.
Note – The pickup point would be Majnu Ka Tila or RK Ashram Metro Station (tentative).

Day 2
Manali- Kunzum Pass – Kaza

Pick up from Manali Volvo Station on arrival from Delhi.

Transfer to Kaza
Distance | 200kms, 7-8hrs drive

En route, Visit Kunzum Pass is one of the highest motorable mountain passes of India. It serves as a gateway to the beautiful Spiti Valley. It lies on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas.  We will reach the headquarters of Spiti, Kaza by late evening and check in to our designated stays.   Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 3
Kaza-Langza-Hikkam-Komic-Kaza
Distance | 30kms, one way, 1 hr drive

Morning Breakfast.
Visit Langza Village – The village is known as the “fossil village” of Spiti valley. Enroute Visit Hikim village – Visit highest Post Office in the world – Hikkim Village.

Enroute Visit Komic village – Visit highest village in the world at an altitude of 15,500ft connected by a motorable road – Komic
Evening, return to the designated stay. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 4
Kaza-Dhankar-Tabo
Distance | 65kms, 2-3hrs drive

Morning Breakfast.
Visit Tabo has the oldest caves on barren mountains and Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism.

Visit Dhankar Monastry. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 5
Tabo-Mud- Pin Valley – Kaza

Morning Breakfast.

Visit Mud, a village in the cold desert region of Spiti. Later, visit Pin Valley National Park (Vehicle will drop at the Gate of Pin Valley National Park). Later, return to Kaza for overnight stay.

Day 6
Kaza Local – Kumzum La – Pass – Chandra tal

Morning Breakfast.
Visit Key Gompa (Key Monastery) and Kibber village
Visit Kunzumla Pass which is 4590 M. highest pass on Spiti Lahaul Road
Visit Chandra tal The lake got its name because of its crescent shape
Dinner and overnight stay in Chandra tal.

Day 7
Chandartal- Atal Tunnel – Manali

After breakfast, we’ll check out of our campsites and start our return journey to Manali. Visit Chandratal Lake, Atal Tunnel, en-route Solang Valley. Overnight stay in Manali

Day 8
Manali – Delhi overnight journey

Breakfast is taken at hotel. Later, sightseeing of Manali.
In the evening, we will board the bus for an overnight drive to Delhi.

Day 9
Delhi Arrival & Transfer to Airport
On arrival in Delhi, pick up and transfer to Airport

Your driver/guide is authorised to make changes in the travel itinerary, without your permission to avoid any inconvenience to group members, save the situation from turmoil or risking their life due to geographical or political turbulence that may arise when the tour is in progress.

 Travelling Time: Time taken to reach destination depends upon the traffic conditions and will not be held responsible for delay in reaching destination due road condition or traffic blocks, under any circumstances.
 We would not be held responsible for any vehicle breakdown, if vehicle meets with any accident or due to any other technical difficulties.
 Prior confirmation of Vehicle details, Seats in the Volvo, are subject to change, due to load, frequent change of vehicle and allocation of seats without prior intimation.
 Guests should be prepared to travel in any seats / vehicle allotted at the time of actual travel time.
 No refund due to traffic block or timely transfers to Volvo stand due to delay of arrival flights / train.
 No refund due to cancellation of Volvo Services / delay in reaching destination, subsequently causing cancellation of departure flights.
 Hill stations sightseeing are subject to climate / weather conditions.
 No refund towards cancellation of services due to natural calamity.
 Any increase in taxes or imposition of new taxes shall have to be borne by the customer.
 Vehicle is available as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal unless mentioned in the package inclusions.
 If local taxi provided to you is unable to take you to the designated places due to weather condition, guest may need to hire Gupsy or 4 wheeler on additional payment.
 No refund is permitted at such cases, Gypsy / 4 Wheeler services are optional, additional payment, to be negotiated directly.
 Charges applicable on any extra kilometers or hours can be paid directly to the transport / local vendor/supplier
