Day 01:
Varanasi Arrival, Transfer to Gaya
# Distance – 250kms, 7-8hrs drive, one way

Gaya is a holy city beside the Falgu River, located in the northeast of Bihar. It’s known for 18th-century Vishnupad Mandir, a riverside temple with an octagonal shrine. Close by, ancient Mangla Gauri Temple is set on a hilltop. To the north, Hindu devotees bath in a Brahma Kund pond before honoring their deceased ancestors atop Pretshila Hill. To the south lies the Hindu pilgrimage center of Bodh Gaya

Bodh Gaya, which is one of the holiest of Buddhist sites and is famous for the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. World heritage site of Mahabodhi temple complex, built to mark the site where the Buddha attained enlightenment beneath a sacred Bodhi Tree, is another highlight. The direct descendant of the tree sits within the complex today, along with six other sacred sites, including a lotus pond. A visit to arguably the world’s oldest university at Nalanda may  also be included. The experiences ends with a visit to Rajgir; which has fantastic monuments related to both Buddhism and Jainism.

On Arrival in Varanasi Airport, you will be met and transferred to Hotel. Check in at hotel.

 

Day 02
Gaya & Bodh Gaya Local Sightseeing

Visit Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO world heritage site and the holiest Buddhist shrine. Explore the temple comple, to learn about the life of Lord Buddha and His teachings.  The Great Buddha Statue, which stands at 80 fee tall and is located in the peaceful and serene surroundings of the Mahabodhi Temple Complex.

Next is Thai Manastery, a beautiful temple complex built in traditional Thai Style.

Later, visit Nippon Japanese Temple, also known as Indosan Nippon Japanees Temple. This temple is a symbol of peace and friendship between India & Japan.

Tibetan Monastery, traditional Tibetan style, teach us about Tibetan Buddhism, with beautiful prayer flags and intricate carvings.

Another attaction is Vietnamese Temple, also known as Vietnamese Pagoda, another symbol of friendship between India and Vietnam.

Gaya, the holy city located little  away from Bodh Gaya.  Visit Vishnupad Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter Temple Complex), dedicated to Lord Vishnu.  If time permits, you may also visit  Mangla Gauri Temple, (Non Hindus are not allowed to enter),  which is dedicated to Goddess Parvati.  Later, return to hotel for overnight stay in Gaya/Bodh Gaya.

Day 03
Return to Varanasi
# Distance 250kms – 7 to 8hrs drive

Breakfast is taken at hotel. Later, drive back to Varanasi.
On arrival check in at hotel. Day at Leisure. Evening, experience Evening Ganga Aarti Ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Get a glimpse of the spiritualism at the Ganga Ghats (River front). celebrate the Ganga Aarti on Boat (optional and by own cost). Return to Hotel. Overnight Stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 04:
Varanasi Sightseeing

Early morning, proceed to visit the most religious Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Sankat Mochan. Later back to hotel for breakfast. Noon proceed for the excursion of Sarnath.

Sarnath is the place; where Buddha delivered His First Sermon at Deer Park (Rishipattan) to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and Sarnath Archaeological Museum (Closed on Monday). In evening have leisure time for Shopping in Varanasi (optional and on your own). Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 05:
Varanasi Ayodhya Transfer
# Distance 225kms, 4 to 5hours drive, one way

Morning, after breakfast, proceed Ayodhya, which is 200kms away. It will take about 5 to 6 hrs to reach Ayodhya from Varanasi. On arrival, visit to Ram Janmbhumi; the birthplace of Lord Rama, Janki bhawan, Kanak bhawan. Evening visit Sarayu River followed by Hanuman Garhi. Overnight Stay at hotel in Ayodhya.

Day 06:
Ayodhya Prayagraj Transfer
# Distance – 175kms, 4 to 5hrs drive

After breakfast; check out from the hotel and drive to Prayagraj. It will take around 4-5 hrs to reach Prayagraj. On arrival in Prayagraj, check in the hotel. Later; visit Chandra Shekhar Azad Park (Company Garden) , Anand Bhavan. Overnight stay in hotel in Prayagraj.

Day 07:-
Prayagraj sightseeing & Departure Transfer

Check out after breakfast. Later; proceed to take the holy bath in River Ganga and in Triveni Sangam ( confluence / meeting point of 3 Rivers- Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati). Perform puja and ritual ablutions in the holy waters, then proceed by Hanuman Temple. Later transfer to Prayagraj / Varanasi Airport to connect your onward flight back home.
